Good news! As the COVID-19 crisis is showing signs of improvement in Tennessee, we plan to resume "normal" operations on Friday, May 1. However, safety of our patients and our team remains our top priority. To that end, we are making a number of temporary changes in our office policies and procedures.
As the CDC has recommended that everyone wear masks or face coverings while in public, we will require all patients to wear masks or face coverings while in the office. As supplies are still limited, and in order to continue to provide adequate personal protection for our staff, we request that patients bring their own mask or face covering to their appointment. Also, only one person should accompany a patient to their appointment, and only if necessary. In order to help maintain social distancing and minimize the number of people in the office, please remain in your car until invited into the office by staff. Hand sanitizer and of course hand-washing will be available inside the office. Anyone with a fever or other potential signs or symptoms of COVID-19 will be denied entry to the office and should reschedule their appointment.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Together, we can create a safer yet comfortable environment for your eye care needs!
